Blackpool International Fireworks Championships – The skies above Blackpool provide the ideal canvas for spectacular firework displays.  Each year the resort invites some of the top pyrotechnic experts to thrill and amaze thousands of people who descend onto the Promenade to witness this extravaganza.  And don’t miss the spectacular end of season firework display every November at the Pleasure Beach, Blackpool.

Blackpool Illuminations Switch On is the biggest night of the year when the resort bursts into a blaze of colour as the world famous Illuminations are launched.  Tens of thousands of people gather at this free event to celebrate the start of the dazzling 66 night display.
